On July 21, Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Management Committee held the "Zhihui Liangjiang" 2022 Science and Technology Innovation Annual Release Event at the Mingyuehu Synergy Innovation Hall, where it released the "Zhihui Liangjiang" Science and Technology Leading Talents, Science and Technology Innovation Enterprises and Science and Technology Innovation Achievements. At present, the investment intensity of R&D expenditure in Liangjiang New Area has reached 4.3%, and the proportion of strategic emerging manufacturing industries in the total industrial output value has reached 56.5%. As one of the largest orthopedic consumables production base in the western region, Forwos Medical has been adhering to the development strategy of "scientific and technological innovation" since the beginning of its establishment.
Forwos has formed a series of products for spine, trauma and sports medicine, which are widely used in the fields of human trauma repair, spinal orthopedics and trauma management. The company has developed, registered and marketed more than 50 orthopedic medical devices, of which nearly 20 have been approved as Class III high-risk implant medical devices, accounting for about 1/3 of the total number in Chongqing.
