The wrist fixator is a very sophisticated surgical instrument, and the system can only be installed and removed by a specially trained doctor. FE5 wrist fixator (system) is equipped with a Φ2mm or Φ3mm special wrist bone traction needle.
1. Before surgery, it is necessary to determine whether the patient is suitable for the installation of a wrist fixator according to the patient's age, height, weight, surgical site, surgical purpose, surgical requirements, and patient trauma status, according to the requirements of indications, contraindications and precautions, etc. Intraoperative wrist fixator construction plan and implementation steps and other surgical plans. The wrist fixator built must be adapted to the patient's fracture site and fracture type in order to obtain a good fixation effect.
2. Before the operation, the adjustable parts of the wrist fixator should be completely loosened, and the locking bolts on the single-clamp thread adjustment component and the double-clamp assembly on the steel needle fixation clamp on the wrist fixator should be properly loosened to ensure the intraoperative connection. The rod and steel needle can be quickly snapped into the fixed steel clamp clamp of the adjustable holder.
3. Before the operation, all the components of the wrist fixator and all the installation tools that will be used during the operation should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
4. During the operation, the doctor should determine the penetration site and number of the metal spicules according to the surgical plan, but pay attention to avoiding important blood vessels and nerves to avoid secondary injury to the patient.
5. In the operation, the steel needles are arranged independently at the proximal and distal ends of the fracture, and the steel needles are inserted according to the requirements of the surgical plan.
6. The steel needle clamped by the wrist fixator must be suitable for the selected steel needle holder and have the same diameter. The steel needles must be placed in parallel. If necessary, the steel needle holder can be used as a guide to penetrate the steel needle.
7. Adjust the locking bolts of the wrist joint fixator so that all bolt heads should be placed toward the outside of the wrist joint fixator system to facilitate the operation of locking the fixation clip.
8. Adjust the wrist fixator and reset the fracture site so that the wrist fixator can be effectively fixed.
9. After confirming that the fracture site has been reset, and on the premise that the wrist fixator can be effectively fixed, lock all the fastening bolts to stabilize the wrist fixator and fix the fracture site.
10. The wrist fixator can be adjusted at any time according to the patient's condition after the operation. If necessary, some parts of the wrist fixator can be added or removed to adjust the rigidity of the wrist fixator to achieve the best fixation effect.
